- "Coasting" started the first day I thought Lyon and I might be able to pull off a cycling trip down the West Coast. We completed the trip in October 2010, successfully raising a dollar for each mile we pedaled for Posada Esperanza, a shelter for immigrant women and children in Austin, my home city.

hi!!! i'm typing from a real computer at our hostel! we don't head home until oct. 26th. so we think we'll keep going a little further next week, then ship our bikes back and hop on a train to los angeles. we shall see what the cards hold!
